A Passion to Serve
Zelie Consulting was born from a desire to help nonprofits take control of their vision and achieve meaningful growth. As a mom balancing family life and professional ambitions, our founder recognized the challenges organizations face when resources are tight and guidance is limited. Combining personal experience with professional expertise, Zelie Consulting provides practical guidance and support to organizations who are ready to thrive.

About Our Founder
Bianca De León is a leader and strategist with more than 15 years of experience across the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. She partners with boards and executive leadership teams to strengthen governance, clarify strategic direction, and guide organizations through growth and transition.
As a Program Officer at the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, Bianca led and supported the design, implementation, and evaluation of million-dollar public health initiatives across the Paso del Norte region, working on both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border. This work required cross-sector collaboration, community engagement, and systems-level strategy in leading a portfolio of public health initiatives focused on tobacco prevention and control, underage and binge drinking prevention, healthy sexuality education, and positive youth development.
Having worked on both the funder and nonprofit sides, Bianca brings a practical understanding of how organizations secure resources, build internal capacity, and position themselves for long-term sustainability. As Founder and Principal of Zelie Consulting, she supports leadership teams in navigating complexity, strengthening infrastructure, and translating vision into focused action.
Bianca holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from St. Edward’s University, a Master’s in International Education from the School for International Training, a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Education from BoardSource, and a Change Management Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin. She also serves in board and advisory leadership roles in the nonprofit and civic sectors.
